DECRIPTION

In the Hellenic Maritime Museum the naval history of the Greek nation unfolds before the eyes of the visitors, in consecutive halls. The museum is rich in models of ships, representations of historical events, various objects etc. of the antiquity, the Revolution of 1821, the modern history of the navy and our commercial shipping. Among other exhibits there is a rich collection of 10,000 volumes of rare editions of nautical books and maps, artworks and rich photographic archive.
